K-pop Is... K-pop also known as Korean pop is originally from South Korea in the year 1885. Previously only the traditional Korean musical was formed, but nowadays genres like Rock, Jazz, Hip-hop, reggaeton, etc. are integrated into this style of music, since in 1992 bands like "Seo Taiji" and "Boys " began to implement these Styles within their songs. K-Pop was known in Japan at the beginning of the 21st century so it became a subculture of east and Southeast Asia. Currently it is extending a great "Korean wave" throughout Latin America, India, North Africa, the Middle East and part of the West.
